Alona was born in St. Petersburg, Russia and holds an MA in Philology and is trained in tourism management and advertising. She has a wealth of experience in the tourism industry, having worked for several years in the documentary film industry in the Netherlands and held key management positions with some of Israel’s leading tour companies before joining Routes in 2013 as the Director of Customized Travel and Business Development.
As a mother of one and a grandmother of adorable twins, Zoar and Ori, Alona is passionate about traveling and exploring nature. In her spare time, she enjoys reading great books.
