Maya was born in Toronto, Canada and made the decision to make Aliyah in 2016 after spending her gap year in Israel. Her love of the country only grew stronger during her time here and she knew it was where she wanted to call home. After moving to Israel, Maya drafted into the army and served for five years as an Officer in a Combat Unit. Her military experience and leadership skills have been a valuable asset to her current role at Routes. She has been working with the company since 2022, starting as a Field Coordinator and now working as a Tour Operator. In addition to her role at Routes, Maya is currently pursuing a degree in Management and Human Resources at Hadassah College while residing in Jerusalem with her husband, Elkana. In her spare time, Maya can be found running, being outdoors, and spending time with her loved ones.
